25
August 2009 : SWINDON WILDCATS (Ice Hockey Team) Adopt The National
Bullying Helpline Charity for the 2009/10 season. The
Swindon Wildcats (Ice Hockey team) are a truly community orientated
sports club and they are working with schools and kids across
Swindon; through roadshows and in respect of their 'learn to skate'
programme. They are also supporting The National Bullying Helpline
Charity as part of their school visits programme and through a
fund-raising initiative for the Charity. Anyone struggling with
bullying issues should eat well and exercise regularly. These
are two important messages The Swindon Wildcats and The National
Bullying Helpline Charity want to promote across Wiltshire schools
in the run up to National Ban Bullying week : 16 -20 November
2009.
15th August 2009 : Helen
Gordon & The Great London Swim Helen
Gordon took part in the Great London Swim, a 1-mile swimathon
on the River Thames on 15th August to raise money for us. She
chose to support us because she is committed to making a change
for the better to people's working lives. Helen says; "There
is no place for antisocial, bullying behaviour in the workplace.
I am studying to become an occupational psychologist and hope
to be able to change organisations for the better with effective,
fair and appropriate HR and management policies. Through preparing
for this tough physical challenge and improving my fitness by
training regularly, I hope to raise awareness of this cause and
hopefully have fun on the day!".

WE
ARE LOOKING FOR SPONSORS
WE
ARE LOOKING TO PARTNER WITH EMPLOYERS
We
desperately need more helplines and more resources. There is a huge
demand for the support services we provide. Currently we provide
FREE practical and timely support and counselling, but this is limited.
We need to do much more for those suffering with workplace bullying
issues.
This is not just
about money... We offer Partnership Packages to employers. Simply,
in exchange for your support with resources, equipment, Marketing
and PR, etc., we will provide support and diversity expertise to
you.
Call us on 0845 22 55 787 NOW for
details.
“Any
organisation partnering with us, or sponsoring us, will benefit
from being associated with a Charity committed to combating and
eradicating this negative workplace conduct”. - David Pratt:
Co Founder
“Clearly, this is a much needed
Charity as there is very little, employment support available at
a time when it is needed. We have a dedicated investigation
team and a total of four Chartered Fellows of the CIPD working with
us, all of whom have an in- depth understanding of employment law”.
Christine Pratt. CEO.
CAN YOU HELP
Would you like to propose that your
employer has a 'Dress Down Day' to raise money
for our cause? Simply, every day you dress down for work you put
£1 in the Charity box. Why not
consider this as your way to raise money for us during National
Ban Bullying week 2009? You will be surprised just how much money
you will raise. Thank you.
